Change of plans

Turns out the old countertop didn't fit the space to hold as a temporary surface. (We changed the wall depth and floor height enough that the measurements are all different.) So the guys (Gus, our contractor, and the plumber he brought on) built a temporary counter so the sink and faucet will hold until the real counter comes in. These guys do really meticulous, good work.

Things will remain more or less the same for the next few weeks—until the new cabinet doors and trim arrive and countertop is installed. In the meantime, we can complete the painting.
